If you ever thought you might want to give playing the ukulele a go, then listen up.
The Ukulele Hooley is coming to Dun Laoghaire August 67 and 27, for the eighth year in a row.
The Ukulele Hooley is set to see three thousand ukulele players descend upon the seaside town for a nice, big jam sesh.
The event, which is free to attend, will see workshops, the Ukulele Bus Busk, ukulele lessons for beginners and much more.
It will take place in Dun Laoghaire and in People’s Park over the weekend, where people who are seasoned pros and complete beginners are encouraged to attend.
It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser, as the festival wants to get every single player on stage to play some songs together.
