If you walk by The Gaiety, Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre or in the general vicinity on your way to work, you’ll have noticed this powerful demonstration this morning on your stroll into the office.Â
The performance was based around underage female refugees and the struggles they face both before turning 18, and in adult life.

It involved several young girls dressed as brides, and older men standing beside them, with a booming voiceover on a loop saying ”Please hold, girl refugees are on hold for the first 17 years of their lives. Take them off hold. Please hold, your enquiry is important to us.”
Powerful stuff.Â
It is unknown who was behind the demonstration at this time, but we think they definitely got their point across.Â
