It’s been a miserable last few days, from the flooding in Clontarf and trees falling all over the gaff to the super strong winds and high water levels of The Liffey.Â
It’s been a weird and wet few days and we were beginning the think that the world around us was coming to an end.Â
But fear not, dear friends, because this weekend is finally bringing some good weather our way.Â
Just kidding.Â
Sorry. The world is actually ending.Â
There’s actually even chance of snow and sleet this evening near the Dublin Mountains.Â
Any remaining hail or sleet will clear to reveal mostly clear conditions with a chance of a few wintry showers and temperatures could drop as low as -1.Â
As for Saturday it will be cold and dry with crisp sunshine on offer throughout the morning but clouds will increase in the afternoon with a risk of showers laced with hail and sleet.Â
Maximum temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in light southwest breezes.
