This Dublin Restaurant Is Making One Policy Change That Every Place Should Consider Making

Darragh Berry

This is one way to pick us up from the blues of the Bank Holiday.

Leaving the pup behind while you and your significant other or you and your mates head out for some treats is truly heartbreaking.

The look on their faces as you open the door only for them to realise that they’re not coming with you will haunt your dreams.

However, One of Dublin’s most appetising places for a bite to eat is making a change to their policy that every restaurant should consider making.

It now has a new pet policy that is a first for the urban village.

The Exchequer Wine Bar and Restaurant Ranelagh have launched a brand new pet policy just in time for the bright summer evenings and we couldn’t be any happier.

Patrons can now bring their pooches to the Ranelagh hotspot to enjoy the relaxed vibe along with a delicious meal and drink on their sun drenched terrace.

The Exchequer Wine Bar in the popular urban village of Ranelagh has become a regular hotspot for Dublin foodies. The focus at The Exchequer Wine Bar has become the “local neighbourhood restaurant”, with that in mind the team have decided to implement a dog friendly policy for customers.

Dogs are welcome at The Exchequer Wine Bar and Restaurant every Thursday to Sunday in the side terrace which benefits from long hours of sunshine, some top-notch water bowls and awnings for when the heat becomes too much.

Their human counterparts can enjoy some delicious food from the recently revamped menu with mains such as delectable duck breast with fondant potato, light bites such as a variety of artisan flatbreads or some sweet treats from the dessert menu.

Additionally, while your dog soaks in the sun or makes some new canine friends, patrons can enjoy a selection from the award-winning sommelier and mixology team.

The cocktail menu offers much loved classics with a twist such as the smoky old fashioned, margarita and many more.

The Exchequer Wine Bar have a varied gin menu, offering something fresh for those lazy summer afternoons.

Bookings can be made on the website which you can find here.
