For all its benefits, traveling on public transport has its downsides, one of them being opportunistic pickpockets using their nimble fingers to steal from the general public.
While this culture is not as prominent in Dublin as in other cities around the world, it does happen and it’s best to have your wits about you.
One Luas passenger has posted a story online of how someone tried to pinch her stuff while she was traveling on the service but it seems like culprit got more than he bargained for.
Send prayers & good wishes for the guy who tried to pick my pocket on the luas, took out a tampon, got mortified & tried to put it back.
