Waiting For A Second Coldplay Gig? The MCD Chief Has Just Commented On It

The band sold 80,000 tickets in less than an hour for their first show

Coldplay

With the masses going crazy for Coldplay's gig in Croke Park next summer, most of us thought an announcement for a second show was inevitable – but it doesn't look likely right now.

Commenting on the situation, MCD manager Denis Desmond said,

There won’t be a second Coldplay gig in Dublin. They don’t have the time. The band is playing only 15 gigs in Europe next summer and only two in the UK.

Now Desmond doesn't speak on behalf of Coldplay, but he probably has a pretty good idea of how the band would choose to proceed.

Know anyone who'd be gutted by this news?
