10 Restaurants In Town That Are Open Today If You Want A Snow Storm Snack

Sarah

Snowmaggaden is here and if there’s one thing that being cooped inside makes us wanna do, it’s EAT.

Whether it’s a caveman survival instinct or just pure greed we’re not sure, we do know that thanks to Storm Emma the average Dubliner will gain five lbs.

(We made that up but hey, we see you with that hot chocolate and bakewell tart at 10am. You do you.)

So where to get some last-minute grub if your fridge isn’t stocked too well or you’re just plain lazy? Here’s a few spots in town that are staying open during today’s storm to feed the city:

Rosa Madre, Temple Bar: Lunch and Dinner

Herbstreet, Hanover Quay: Brekkie until 2pm

TriBeCa, Ranelagh: Lunch until 2.30pm

Brickyard Gastropub, Dundrum: Lunch, Dinner (and most importantly) PINTS

Sophie’s at The Dean, Harcourt St: Lunch, Dinner and Drinks

White Moose Cafe, Phibsboro: Food and Bread!

The Stella Theatre, Rathmines: Food and Movies

Catch-22, Clarendon Street: Lunch and Dinner (weather permitting)

Legit Coffee Co., Meath St: Brunch!

Bewley’s, Grafton St: Coffee and Lunch until 2pm

It might sound crazy that places are opening today, but if staff live within walking distance and are willing to do so then we get why some businesses would want to make the most of being able to use the fresh produce they’d ordered in.

Good luck out there to anyone who does decide to brave it x
