There’s a new vegan fast food spot in Dublin 18

And coming from a non-vegan, it absolutely hits the spot.

Allow me to paint you a picture. You’re hungover on a Sunday and inept of making a decision. You’re not in the mood for any of your usual takeaway spots, so you bravely set out to browse the internet in search of something new. You come across a new plant-based takeaway nearby and think to yourself, “will it satisfy the intense craving for cheesy, comforting, carb-filled sustenance I’m experiencing in my fragile state?”

I’m happy to confirm that it can.

Yum Grub is the new vegan kid on the block in Dublin 18 and to the best of my knowledge, the only takeaway of its kind in the area. It’s based out of the Village Yard in Ballybrack and the perfect spot for an almighty plant based feed. I went for the grub box which was a stunning selection of crispy chick*n strips, fries and mac n’ cheeni (a massive breaded ball of vegan mac n’ cheese – simply gorge).

Their loaded fries also come highly recommended – you can go for old reliable garlic cheeze fries or add a sprinkling of tofu bacon. Either way, you’ve got nothing to lose.

Definitely worth hitting up for vegans and fast food lovers alike!
