BREAKING: A Man Is Critical After Being Pulled From The Canal At Portobello

A 23-year-old man is in a critical condition after being pulled from the Grand Canal in Portobello on Sunday, 98fm is reporting. 

The man had traveled from Galway to Dublin for the All-Ireland hurling final with friends but was not with his companions when he entered the canal. 

Gardaí are keen to speak to anyone with information, particularly a man and woman who came to the man's aid. 

Witnesses are being asked to contact Kevin Street Garda Station on 01-6669400, the Garda Confidential Line 1 800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
