BREAKING: All Six Defendants Found Not Guilty In Jobstown Trial

The jury in the Jobstown trial has reached a verdict which states that all six defendants have been found not guilty of the false imprisonment of Joan Burton. 

Deputy Paul Murphy (34), Cllrs Michael Murphy (53) and Kieran Mahon (39) as well as Michael Banks (46), Frank Donaghy (71) and Scott Masterson (34) all stood accused of falsely imprisoning Minister Joan Burton during a protest against water charges in Tallaght in 2014.

The trial lasted eight weeks. All six men had pleaded not guilty to the charges.
