If you’re passing by Grafton Street this lunchtime, you might be best to avoid the area near Brown Thomas as there’s an incident unfolding there at the moment.
A huge amount of smoke is coming from Weir Jewellers and there are several ambulances in the area but the exact circumstances are not clear.

There was a false alarm at Weir’s earlier this year, when the unit seemed to be on fire but it later emerged that an anti-theft device had been activated.
