BREAKING: Gunshots Have Been Fired In A Dublin Post Office

An attempted robbery took place in Blackrock this afternoon that resulted in gun being fired in a post office.

The incident took place around 2.30pm this afternoon, where the assailant entered the post office, threatened customers and staff with a weapon, and fired the gun at least three times.

One man present received minor injuries during the attempted robbery while trying to stop the gunman. No money was taken during the incident.

According to Independent.ie, the assailant dropped the gun while making his escape and now remains at large.
