Dublin Fire Brigade have to go through a lot; they spend their time fighting the blazes that take over our city, and in doing so they keep us safe.
Their services are known far and wide, very far and wide, it seems.
Last night they got a call to attend a fire in Donnybrook … in Western Australia.
Odd one for our control room last night as they took a fire call for Donnybrook….Western Australia ????????. We called @dfes_wa to send help 1/2 pic.twitter.com/UKLcaLgHmP

The lads in the control room took a call for a fire a little bit out of their way, so they reached out to the services in Australia.
Nevertheless, they urged people to remember the right number to ring when there’s an emergency.
2/2 our control room mobilises fire appliances for Leinster but 15,000 km away is a new one. Remember call 999/112 never 0035316734……???????? pic.twitter.com/1xVZgwG0sI
