An Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Milan has declared an emergency this morning over the south of the UK.

Flight EI432 departed Dublin just after 7am and was scheduled to land in the Italian city just before 11am.

The emergency was declared at around 8.30am and it's not yet known what the nature of it is.

More as we get it.
