New Report Highlights That Ireland Has Second Highest Rent In Europe

A new report conducted by the European housing organisation, Feantsa, has some pretty grim results for Irish renters and prospective buyers…

Not only do we have the second highest rate of mortgage arrears in Europe, but we also have the highest rate of rent.

Anyone currently house-hunting, or looking to make a move knows will find these results disappointing, yet unsurprising. Greece have the highest rates in Europe, with us coming in second as one of the worst places to find accommodation within an individual’s budget.
