Northside Garda Station Evacuated This Afternoon After Suspected Pipe Bomb Found

Finglas Garda Station was evacuated this afternoon after a member of the public arrived with a suspicious device found near his home.

Shortly after 3pm, Gardaí evacuated the building and put a cordon around the station. The army bomb disposal team have been requested to attend the scene and local traffic diversions are in place. 

The Independent is reporting that the device in question is a suspected pipe bomb.
