Update from Luas 5.21pm: Please be advised that there are delays of 15 minutes on Red Line services due to earlier non Luas related incident.
Being on a Luas when it gets stuck in a minor delay in irritating enough, but y’know, we get on with it. A few minutes here and there, we’re used to that.
But passengers on a Red Line Luas this evening were completely delayed after some chancer parked their BMW riiiiight on the tracks on Abbey Street.
Gardai were called to the scene and the Luas is suspended between Smithfield and The Point.
Ah here. Is the owner nowhere to be found?
Delays on the Red Line due to earlier non Luas related incident at Jervis. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
