Whelan’s Bar on Wexford Street is well known for being generally good craic – their live gigs are legendary, they have all the best musicians in their private upstairs green room, and even Ed Sheeran is a big fan of the place.

And now it’s even more obvious that the people behind the bar are seriously gas.

A job vacancies sign in their window today caught our eye and made us double back for a second look… 

Someone clearly has a good sense of humour 

And they’re looking for some seriously skilled staff members. Rocket Scientists? G’luck.

Beverage Dispense Engineers? We’re gonna use that instead of ‘bartenders’ from now on.

But our absolute fave is the Empty Vessel Collection Specialist. Just picture the looks on your mates faces when you tell them that’s what you’re working at on the weekend.
