As if a crash on one of the country’s main roads wasn’t bad enough on a Sunday evening, you can always count on Irish drivers to make it that little bit worse.
The incident took place just before Junction 7 on the M7 in towards Dublin
It’s before junction 7 – Kill. Right lane blocked just opposite petrol station at Goffs!

But what was otherwise a minor incident was made a whole lot worse…
Thanks to the inherent nosiness of Irish people.
Collision at side of road on #m7 and yet there’s a backlog of 10 mins because people are nosey. This country ???? @aaroadwatch

Again, people, as if it needs saying: rubbernecking really doesn’t help anyone.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported – and the incident has since been cleared from the roadway.
