When Frankie Gaffney’s novel Dublin Seven was released, the response was generally positive – save for one aspect.
The sex scenes.
Labelled gratuitous, overblown and even misogynistic, it whipped up quite a bit of controversy amid an otherwise welcoming audience.
To be fair, though, the author tackles the issue head-on in this video – and even elicits the help of some familiar faces in doing so.
Deadly.
