Commuters passing 3fe on Grand Canal Street Lower this morning will have seen a very cute, but chaotic, scene.
A mama duck and her baby ducklings appeared to have gotten quite lost as they wandered across the pedestrian crossing just as the walking man symbol flashed green.
Cars halted in their place, cyclists stopped and passersby, including diners in 3fe, came to the rescue in keeping the duckies on the footpath.

It was quite the scene.
And possibly one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen in Dublin.
One businessman even stopped to help the ducklings hop up onto the footpath using his briefcase.
With the help of a few good Samaritans the ducks did a 180-degree turn and headed back to their home at Grand Canal.
An exciting day out for the family.
