Woman On Her Own Attacked From Behind Outside Gym In South Dublin

Gardaí are currently investigating an attack which allegedly took place in South Dublin on Monday morning. 

A woman who was outside a gym in South Dublin by herself was approached from behind and attacked by a man. 

The gym in question is in the Loughlinstown area.

The woman was allegedly dragged to the ground and was screaming but managed to escape unharmed. 

Her attacker left the scene immediately. 

It is unknown whether the woman was attending the gym or not at that hour in the morning. The gym at dlr Leisure Services opens daily at 6:30am. 

Gardaí said that while no injuries were reported, investigations are ongoing and they are appealing to any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time to come forward.
