Our childhood dreams came true this morning when Dublin Fire Brigade took to Twitter to confirm something that’s been on our minds since we were like, six basically: Yep – firemen DO use fire poles.
They posted this gas video of a member swooshing down a pole and we can only imagine how much fun they have sliding down the pole every day.

Someone commented saying that the video clip “needs a soundtrack”, and true to form the fire brigade were quick to respond, asking the vital question of which song to put behind the clip.
The result? Batman theme tune – perfect.
