Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the death of a pedestrian in Dublin yesterday.
The 27-year-old man was killed after being struck by a truck on the M1 Dublin to Belfast Road near the J5 Balbriggan South before 7pm.

Gardaí can confirm that as a result of the serious RTC on the M1 at junction 5 – the road is now CLOSED and local diversions are in place.

The road was closed northbound from about 7.25pm and reopened early this morning.
