Dublin Fire Brigade were absolutely run off their feet last night as bonfires raged across the capital.
Between 9am and 11pm on Halloween, they responded to a total of 705 emergency calls and this map shows you the sheer scale of the work that was undertaken.

Among the incidents were fires of roofs of houses, bins on fire, fires near playgrounds, a sofa on fire and a fire on a GAA pitch.
For all their hard work, Dublin Fire Brigade got a welcome compliment amidst the madness.
