With the schools fully back in swing, transport around the country already is slowly restoring the delays that we were so used to before the summer began.
And this DART timetable change is about to shake things up even more so for commuters heading to and from work.
This schedule change means that fewer trains will stop at three northside stations from next Monday, 10th September.
Although the DART’s will run at an increased frequency (there’ll be a train every ten minutes all going well), it means Dundalk and Drogheda services will lose the stops: Portmarnock, Clongriffin and Howth Junction.
This has led to widespread anger and commuters are begging with Irish Rail to rethink the decision.
how am I suppose to get to work from september 9th if the 1st northern commuter won’t serve howth junction? Am I suppose to wait 40 min in Malahide or commute all the way to Dublin Connolly, really @IrishRail? ???????????????

The new decision will mean extra capacity for those who wish to go into town but as this angry commuter states above, it’s going to be a nightmare for those who had been picked up at those three stations before this.
