Dublin Bus has just announced the final details of a much-needed new route running from Ballymun all the way to Bray.
The new 155 service will begin operating on March 24, starting at IKEA in Ballymun and travelling via the city centre and Dun Laoghaire before finishing up in Bray.
The route will also take in Dublin City University, Phibsborough, Donnybrook, University College Dublin, Stillorgan and Cabinteely.
The bus is set to operate every twenty minutes starting from 6am Monday to Saturday, and 8am on Sundays.
It’s set to be a real life-changer for IKEA shoppers as well as people availing of the handy new route to the coast on sunnier days.

IKEA bosses had also been calling for more services to their store that started earlier in the morning so staff could make it to work on time.
Local TD Noel Rock told The Journal that the new route “makes a lot of sense for people on the northside and effectively increases capacity from IKEA to the City Centre to 8 buses an hour each way”.
