Rathmines is about to welcome another addition to its foodie quarter,
with confirmation that Fallon & Byrne will be opening in the area in the coming months.
The new branch will be in the Swan
Centre and will include a 10,000sq ft. food hall, deli and casual
eatery with outdoor terrace.
The gourmet food hall will join the
Exchequer Street and Dun Laoghaire locations, carrying “the best of
both Irish and international artisan products brands, along with a
strong selection of Irish artisan products”.
The announcement follows a €2m refurbishment of the Swan Centre and Fiona McHugh of Fallon & Byrne said the company is looking forward to expanding the business into the Rathmines area.
“This is a really exciting opportunity to bring Fallon & Byrne to a fantastic location. We love the plans to create an elegant, contemporary extension to the Castlewood Road side of the centre and very much look forward to creating a beautiful food hall to match.”
It is hoped that the new extension will be completed in the coming months so we won’t have to wait too long to check it out!
