Met Éireann are forecasting a miserable day of rain for the capital with showers arriving from the north of the country later this morning. The downpours will turn heavier this evening so make sure you've your brolly with you for the way home.
The full outlook reads as follows:
"This morning rain in the west and north will gradually spread southeastwards. The rain will turn persistent and heavy in the north.
"The south and southeast will stay dry until later this evening. Mid day temperatures will be around 11 to 15 degrees, coolest in the north but temperatures will continue to rise through the evening and early night.
"Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds will increase fresh to strong and gusty by evening."
