Frequent flyers and Irish holidaymakers were left shocked and confused following a swift evacuation from Dublin Airport this morning at around 9:30am.
An alarm was set off due to a small fire in one of the terminals.
Dublin airport took to Twitter to report on the story.
Pier 3 was temporarily evacuated due to small fire which has now been extinguished. No one injured. Incident in office away from public 1/3

We are now moving to resume operations in Pier 3 as quickly as possible. As a precaution we temporarily suspended security screeening 2/3
