Dublin Fire Brigade have had a very busy 24 hours with raging gorse fires in the Dublin Mountains last night near Sandyford.

And just a short while ago they rushed to the scene of a fire at a playground in North Dublin.
As you can see below, the fire was alight in the Hill Street playground, just off Parnell Street.

People are not impressed with what’s being described as “mindless vandalism”.
