Dublin Renters Agreeing To Illegal Rent Increases Out Of Desperation

Renters in Dublin are agreeing to rent increases above the 4% cap. 

According to 98fm, the Residential Tenancies Board received 13,000 more calls in 2016 than it did in 2015. 

Despite it being illegal for landlords to charge amounts higher than a 4% increase, many of the calls were in relation to landlords increasing rent.
