Grafton Street saw queues of footwear-obsessed people huddled outside BT2 last night to get their hands on a coveted pair of ‘Yeezeboost‘ shoes.
Designed by the self-proclaimed lyrical genius Kanye West, we also saw scenes like this a few months ago in Dublin, with some queuers being so anxious to have these shoes (that cost more than €300) that they spent more than 24 hours in line.
You have to give it to Kanye, loved by millions for his music and now he has people willing to go without sleep to get a pair of his freakin’ shoes, we wouldn’t be surprised if he actually shits gold.
As if the long wait to get their beloved footwear wasn’t hard enough, the Yeezeboost fanatics also had to deal with ridicule from passers-by.
Basically all of Grafton Street is pointing and laughing at the people queuing for the Kanye shoes.

If you’re one of the people queuing up overnight outside BT2 on Grafton Street for Kanye West runners you are a complete fucking dickhead.

Personally, I fail to see the attraction. They don’t even light up when you run.
