Ugh, not again.
House prices in Dublin are double that of the national average according to the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers published in today’s Sunday Independent.
Not only that – but property prices nationally are set to rise to Celtic Tiger boom-time levels by the end of this year.
On average, a family home in Dublin is now nearly €518,000 compared to the national average of a three-bed – €253,466.
Soaring prices in Dublin have had a knock-on effect for surrounding commuter counties:
- Wicklow – €275,000
- Meath – €239,000
- Kildare – €235,000
(based on three bed homes)
Here we go again… *eye roll*
