Canal Bank Market Fair

If you didn’t make it out to Canalaphonic back in May then here’s your chance to redeem yourself. Hosted on the beautiful banks of Portobello square, the market will have an eclectic mix of stalls selling everything from vintage clothes to vinyl records. This hipster’s paradise will also have some artisan food stalls and live music sets to top it all off!

Shakespeare in the Park

This is one for the sophisticated yet skint crowd. Enjoy a dreamlike evening of riveting drama set against the stunning natural backdrop of the Iveagh Gardens and all of this for free! Fortune’s Fool Productions promises us a raucous performance with this controversially misogynistic Shakespearan comedy. Is Dublin ready?

Secret

As the name would suggest, this exhibition is shrouded in secrecy. However, we do know that it will be exploring the future of surveillance, espionage and privacy. They have a ‘Whisper Your Secrets’ feature where you can anonymously upload your darkest, deepest secrets and they will be retold to strangers. This is either an incredibly novel concept or the best prank ever. Either way, count us in!

Opera in The Open

For the month of August, you can escape the office and enjoy an outdoor French opera on your lunch break. Forget your troubles, kick back and savour the music while taking in the beautiful surroundings of one of Dublin’s hidden gems. Believe us – you don’t have to be an opera buff to enjoy the show!
