Want to start anew? We’ve got just the thing.

The Agri Careers Fair kicks off in the RDS today, offering over 1,000 potential jobs to those who are interested in the general area of agribusiness and agricultural technology.

And before you panic, neither a degree in agricultural science nor a keen knowledge of farming are essential to work in the agricultural industry.

The summit has been organised by both the Irish Farmers Journal and open eir, and will highlight all of the incredible opportunities that exist in the vast range of agriculture. There are absolutely tonnes of options, with over 60 exhibiting companies looking to fill up to 1,100 roles on the day.

The roles vary massively, with areas such as IT, accounting, engineering, marketing and human resources all being covered.

Many of the job opportunities offered on the day are set to be based in rural Ireland, meaning you can save some serious money on rent while also getting a good night’s kip. Happy days!

Here’s a list of some of the many roles that employers will be looking to fill on the day:

  • Accountants
  • Marketing Communications Manager
  • Procurement Category Manager
