Oh technology, you little beaut – you’ve done it again!
Coppers has announced today that it’s going to be a whole lot easier to get yer drinks in at the bar – because they’re now accepting contactless card payments.
This means you don’t have to buy someone else a drink just to reach the minimum spend threshold, you don’t have to waste time waiting at the ATM and miss crucial elements of the 5ive Megamix – and most importantly…
Those queues should start to move a bit quicker.
Contactless payments work for amounts up to €30, mind – so if you do fancy making yourself popular with a few Jaegers, then have at it.
Unfortunately this is only effective at the bar for now. But surely – SURELY – they’ll start to roll it out at the door and the cloakroom soon?
We can but hope…
