These Three Dublin Areas Are The Most Popular Places For New Homes

Sarah

If you’ve been searching for a house to buy in Dublin of late, it appears that there’s three certain areas where you’re most likely to find something.

The Irish Independent analysed data from the Central Statistics Office and found that new homes in Dublin are being built mainly outside of the city centre despite council policies in place aimed to prevent urban sprawl.

New homes are mostly sold in Dublin 15 (1,066), Dublin 13 (489), and Dublin 24 (456).

Certain areas such as Sutton, Howth, Foxrock and Malahide are also popular for new builds.

So while you might have your heart set on living in a brand new home in the city centre… It’s not looking likely.
