Irish music is alive, and well.
Donegal born, Dalkey home-owner Enya has only gotten herself another Best New Age Album Grammy nod. The Gweedore native has already won four Grammys before, all of which are of the Best New Age Album genre, and had been nominated three times previously also.
The three nominations she had previously lost out on were Best Music Video, Best Song Written For A Movie and Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
She’s probably best known for her iconic song ‘Sail Away’.
A banger, by all accounts.
Best of luck to Enya, in what could well be her fifth time winning this award.
