Cypriot President, Nicos Anastasiades, arrived in Dublin last night, kicking off a two-day official visit in the Emerald Isle.
President Anastasiades, accompanied by his spouse Antri, and the members of his delegation, will be officially welcomed by President Higgins at the Áras.
They were welcomed to the city of Dublin by the Irish Air Corps, who put on a display of planes in formation and gun salutes upon his arrival.
Anastasiades and Michael D will hold talks with the participation of their delegations.

In the afternoon President Anastasiades will have a casual meeting with the Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, followed by official talks with the participation of the two countries` delegation.
On Tuesday night the Cypriot couple and their delegation will attend an official dinner hosted by President Higgins.
