Katie Sanderson has long been one of my favourite chefs in Dublin. She doesn’t have her own full time restaurant, but be it in her pop up Hare, cooking in the early days of the Fumbally or down in Dillisk, she is inventive in a way few other Irish chefs are.
So when Katie cooks you need to be there. She is like a free spirit moving in ways other chefs don’t and cooking on the very edge of trends before they hit the mainstream.
Tomorrow night in Fumbally Katie is cooking a veggie feast. In her own words…
Lots of pickles, ferments, Japanese inspired bits and bobs, bits for sharing and bits for not, multi courses and a lovely vibe right in the centre of town.
Nourishment for the belly and the soul.
Tickets are €48 and you can BYOB. I’d wager that you won’t have a better meal this year if you pop along.
And that comes from a meat eater.
