We were v proud when Phibsboro (or Phibsborough, whichever way you like it) was named in Time Out’s 50 coolest neighbourhoods in the world.
It came as a bit of a shock for sure but with the likes of McGowans and The Back Page, which is the header image, it’s no wonder that it got the nod.
Time Out said about the place that:
“Since a new tram line arrived last December, the outlying village of Phibsboro (also spelled Phibsborough) has become more bustling than ever.
“Dilapidated Victorian buildings are suddenly filling with modern cafés and charming shops.”
So with a title like that, you can expect the best of the best to come lurking about the place and that’s what this famous sports star did.
