Temple Bar’s The Front Lounge is set to close next month.
The gay bar will be replaced by a music venue called Street 66, which will have live reggae and ska music, according the TheOutmost.com.
The Parliament Street bar first came to prominence in the mid ’90s, going on to become one of the city’s most popular spots for the LGBT community, hosting community events like GCN’s My Big Fat Gay Pub Quiz.
Street 66 is set to open on December 8.
