If you’re a follower of Amy Huberman’s Instagram account you’ll know that she’s currently in the midst of a big move.
Herself, husband Brian O’Driscoll and their two children are upping sticks and leaving Goatstown after 11 years in the South Dublin suburb and judging by Amy’s social media activity she’s a bit emotional about the whole thing.
The Finding Joy star has taken time out from packing her things to post an emotional tribute to Goatstown shopkeeper Paul of Lynam’s Fine Foods. Alongside a pic of the pair, Amy posted a heartfelt message outlining Paul’s handiness in times of crisis as well as his importance to the local community.
The caption reads:
‘The G.O.A.T of Goatstown! 🙌👑🐐Moving today and going to miss our local shopkeeper Paul a lot. He cannot do enough for anyone and always at hand to sort out all emergencies from local babysitters to tayto cravings to wardrobe malfunctions. 5 mins before the IFTAS last year I realized I was going to have to be industrially cellotaped into my dress and he sent over the masking tape from the Post Office with a coleslaw roll for when I got in later 👍 He made sure the elderly were all sorted last year in the snow and had all the latest insider bread delivery goss. He looks like he’s eyeing up security to remove me but I dunno, I reckon that’s just an adorable thing he does when he’s emosh. Goodbye Lynams, giz a bag of fizzy jellies’
*Sob.* As Amy says herself, it must be the onions.
