Here Are Some Great Spots To Shop Vintage In Dublin

Éadaoin Fitzmaurice

There’s no denying that vintage fashion is coming back in a big way, and we LOVE it! From over-sized denim jackets to funky, colourful shirts – these stores are the best spots for the best unique and vintage finds to add to your wardrobe.

1. Tola Vintage

Tola Vintage, located on Fownes Street Upper, Temple Bar, is the perfect place for anyone who loves 80s and 90s fashion. They are renowned for having killer shell jackets and abstract shirts and we are utterly obsessed.

To add to this, Tola also specialise in reworking vintage items, giving their clothes that personal touch. They have a sewing machine on the ground floor of their shop where you can watch how they transform an old shirt into a slick crop top or dress.

Tola are also well known for their huge Kilo Sales, which take place every couple of months. At €20 a kilo you really can’t go wrong!

2. Dublin Vintage Factory

With a store based in Smithfield Square and another in Temple Bar, you can’t possibly go into town without popping into Dublin Vintage Factory. This place is a haven for vintage lovers.

The store sells all of its clothes by the kilo, which is super handy for those looking to pick up a few pieces at once. It’s €20 for a kilo so it’s a bargain too! (YAY!)

There is a wide range of clothes and accessories, so it’s definitely a place to find something that will make you stand out from the crowd.

3. Siopaella

Siopaella is Ireland’s largest designer exchange store and an absolute gem if you’re looking to buy some vintage brands. If you’re on the other side of it, Siopaella also buy or swap designer items, which is a great way of passing on something of your own and getting something new in return!

Siopaella is super trendy and a great place to pick up some cool jewellery too.

4. Nine Crows

Every time we walk into Nine Crows in Temple Bar we get style envy. This store has some seriously edgy bits for you to spice up your everyday wardrobe.

The store also has lots of accessories ranging from belts, shoes and bags. We will definitely be taking a visit here on our next vintage hunt.

5. Fresh Temple Bar

Fresh Temple Bar is your first stop shop for bright, colourful clothes. They are known for being a great place for festival wear, but they have much more to offer.

They stock vintage, their own in house label and contemporary clothing. We can confirm that you will definitely be looking fresh after a visit here. (Get it?)

5. Lyón Loring

For a more classic vintage lover, Lyón Loring is the place for you. The store is little over a year old and has just opened in a new location in Stoneybatter.

The store sells the cutest homemade badges and we want them all!

6. Lucy’s Lounge

Lucy’s Lounge is the utopia of quirky vintage finds. The store is full to the brim with weird and wonderful clothes and accessories, you could spend all day going through it.

To top it all off, the store is bright pink and the perfect spot to take a very aesthetically pleasing Instagram!

7. The Vintage Shop in George Street Arcade

Formerly known as Tahiti, The Vintage Shop is the best place to find tropical vintage items. After their re-brand the store appointed the pigeon as their new aesthetic. They say the street pigeon is “an under-appreciated bird of beauty who although may sometimes be seen as annoying, erratic, rough n’ tumble, and overall a bit basic, we find its characteristics to emulate the ideology of our little vintage shop, making it the perfect mascot”

We think it’s pretty fitting too, seen as it’s difficult to go through George Street Arcade without a pigeon swooping overhead!

8. Charity Shops

Charity Shops are a brilliant place to find amazing vintage items for great prices. Some stores like St Vincent de Paul even have a designated vintage section.

The best part is you don’t even have to feel guilty about splurging on a few items because it’s going to a good cause!
