Lord knows that searching for someplace to live in Dublin can be a bit of a nightmare.
Last week we gave people who were looking for an apartment for €1,500 or less a helping hand, but this week we thought we’d look at individual rooms for about €600 a month.
After a good trawl through accommodation sites, here are the best rooms we’ve spotted this week…
1. Millmount Avenue, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 – €510
You’d be sharing this three bedroomed house with two female professionals, it’s only a 20 minute walk from the city centre with great bus and train links, and there’s a nice little garden out the back.

2. Phoenix Park Racecourse, Castleknock, Dublin 15 – €600
This house isn’t owner-occupied, it comes with parking, cable TV and even a house alarm, for the security conscious among you.
You’d also have Phoenix Park on your doorstep, which would be pretty sweet come summer.

3. Royal Canal Park, Ashtown, Dublin 7 – €550
Here you could bag yourself an en suite. You’d be sharing the apartment with two female professionals, it’s got a spacious dining area and it’s just a 5 minute walk from the Dart.

4. Belmont Park, Raheny, Dublin 5 – €600
You’d be sharing with just one other person in this place. It’s in a quiet area with every amenity close by. While your room isn’t en suite, you will have the use of your own bathroom. And there’s a TV!

5. Watermill Road, Raheny, Dublin 5 – €600
Saving the best for last, this en suite is a beaut. Shared with just one other person, the bright and spacious apartment is situated right across the road from St Anne’s Park and Dollymount Strand.
