This Pretty-As-A-Picture South Dublin Home Is Ideal For A Gals Dinner Party

Sarah

Ladies (or gentlemen who enjoy the finer things in life), we have the BEST fancy birthday idea ever. You, your best friends, and a swanky DIY dinner party just outside of Dublin city centre.

This charming Edwardian home on Airbnb is the ideal location for a civilised evening in with your nearest and dearest – we’re picturing champagne on ice and going the whole hog by getting a caterer in to cook a swish meal. Sure it’s cheaper than a dinner out on the town that’s for sure.

Just imagine sitting around here in your glad rags…

There are three reception areas; the main drawing room, has a five seater pink velvet couch and working open fireplace, connecting through to the dining room which features a wonderful antique mahogany dining table with seating for eight.

The fully equipped kitchen has a center island for cooking and dining and also has a seating area with armchairs, flanked with wool mohair blankets and a wood burning stove, for those chilly evenings, a side door to the winter terrace, and double doors leading onto the summer terrace.

And ohhhhhhhhhhhh the summer terrace <3

Meanwhile the summer terrace, surrounded with climbers and roses has a barbecue, fountain, lighting, garden loungers and garden table with four chairs perfect to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the south-west evening sun (and a large umbrella).

The house has ultra pretty little touches, too.

Gilded mirrors straight out of Marie Antoinette, an old-fashioned library style area and a 6 ft clawfoot cast iron bath.

And beds fit for #queens <3

There are four bedrooms: one has a super king size bed, another a king size bed and the other two both have queen size.

They’re all SO pretty.

Available to rent out from €350 a night, the home is beautifully restored and while definitely NOT available for any wild parties, it can be rented out for intimate and special occasions, so a classy dinner party soiree is what this abode is made for.

Just a short walk from Rathmines and Ranelagh means you’ll be super close to gourmet brunch spots for the morning after your royal bash.

Sounds absolutely heavenly. Check out the full listing here.
