Gardaí Release Shocking Photo Of “Lucky Escape” Car After Collision With Vehicle

Darragh Berry

Gardaí posted a picture to Twitter on Sunday night showing a vehicle that was left battered after a two car collision on a Dublin road.

The incident occurred on the R108 in Roganstown on Saturday evening where Gardaí were called to the scene.

The blue car – which is in the picture below – was turned on its side and was completely smashed with a substantial amount of damage done to the driver’s side.

Thankfully, everyone involved in the crash managed to escape with only minor injuries.

Gardaí said: “This driver had a lucky escape after a collision with another vehicle on the R108 Roganstown yesterday. Thankfully all involved only received minor injuries.”

If the picture is not appearing, you can also find it here.

This comes after an status orange weather warning was issued for the whole of the country with dense fog making for dangerous and hazardous driving conditions.

Of course, this is not the first weather warning of December and more than likely will not be the last.

If you’re driving on the roads this Christmas, make sure to take extra caution as the roads may be slippy or your vision may be impaired.

Make sure to slow down and if you have to, leave that extra bit earlier so you’re not rushing.

When you see a picture like this it makes you realise that taking that extra bit of caution is most definitely worth it.
