These Three Irish Universities Are On The List Of Top 150 Young Universities In The World

Three of Ireland’s youngest universities have managed to make it onto the top 150 list of universities in the world, that are less than 50 years old.

Ranked by The Times Higher Education 150 Under 50 Rankings 2016, Dublin City University, University of Limerick and NUI Maynooth all made the list.

University of Limerick is grouped in a general category between 101 and 150, while DCU came in at 79, and NUI Maynooth proved itself to be Ireland’s best young university at 68.  

Here are the top 10 young universities in the world:

10. Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Italy.

9. Pierre and Marie Curie University, France.

8. Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.

7. University of Konstanz, Germany.

6. Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), South Korea.

5. Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea.

4. Maastricht University, The Netherlands.

3. Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong.

2. Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.

1. École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland.
