As soon as I stepped inside it was like entering another world. This felt like New York or San Francisco. The till was an iPad. The crowd were hip and the decor and tables screamed hipster designer types. Luckily the lads had a seat and had managed to hold it for me despite the death stares from the other customers and staff. A stern little note even said that the tiny table was strictly for 3 or more customers only.
The guys in Brother Hubbard have a bunch of exciting different dishes including pulled pork with beans and poached eggs and my own spicy eggs with coriander and chorizo. The flavours here were dancing off the plate. An electric mix that makes you want to punch the air and start dancing the Macarena while screaming at the top of your lungs. Sausage and eggs yes but done in a new and exciting way.
